DIN 2345 is on its way.Our
participation in the international conference on translation quality in Leipzig in October 1999 showed that even smaller
enterprises need to have a well-organized system of quality management.
This is why the implementation of DIN 2345
for our translation contracts is at the top of our priority list for 2000. We also intend to pursue extensive terminology
research for customer-specific databases.
Rationalized work flow.
After a brief initial testing
phase, our translation memory system is now working very successfully.
This software recognizes recurring syntactic
and lexical units in texts. If one of these units reappears somewhere else, the system reacts immediately resulting in a
remarkable savings in time and a high level of consistency in our translations.
